The Fluke Networks MT-8200-49A Micromapper wiremap tester identifies wiring faults including shorts, crossed and reversed wires, and split pairs, and verifies shield integrity in copper cabling. A remote identifier enables one-person testing and a debug mode provides detailed fault identification results. The built-in tone generator produces two tones, and can be used with any analog probe to trace and locate cables hidden in walls, ceilings, and floors (probe not included). The auto-sleep mode decreases battery consumption when not in use. LEDs identify faults in existing cable and indicate a low-battery. Copper and fiber testers are used by network technicians to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize performance of copper and fiber optic cabling, hardware connections, and network settings in enterprise networks.
