It is a high quality drilling grade Barite (Barium Sulphate) used to increase the density of drilling fluids. It is the most widely used drilling weight material due to its high specific gravity.It meets API 13A requirements.

Application

It is used to increase the density of any mud system while maintaining rheological properties

It does not react with other drilling Fluids or hamper their functioning
It is chemically inert and insoluble
Packaging

The material is packed in 1MT-1.50 MT Jumbo bags. If the customer requires any other packaging the same is also available

Barite is commonly used to add weight to drilling fluid. Barite is of significance to petrophysicists because excess barite can require a correction factor in some well log measurements.

ประโยชน์ของแร่แบไรต์ ส่วนใหญ่ประมาณ 80% ของผลผลิตของโลก นำไปใช้ในการทำโคลนผง ซึ่งใช้ในการเจาะสำรวจ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งกับการเจาะหาน้ำมันและก๊าซธรรมชาติ ตลอดจนการเจาะน้ำบาดาล นอกจากนี้ยังใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมประเภทอื่นๆ เช่นอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องปั้นดินเผา กระดาษ ยาง สี ฟอกหนัง เคลือบโลหะ ตลอดจนเป็นส่วนสำคัญของยารักษาโรค ใช้ทำน้ำยาในการถ่ายภาพเอกซเรย์ทางการแพทย์ และยังสามารถป้องกันรังสีเอกซ์และแกมมา จึงนำไปใช้ทำคอนกรีตเสริมแผ่นโลหะตะกั่วสำหรับใช้ในโรงงานปฏิกรณ์ปรมาณูหรือในห้องทดลองที่มีเครื่องเอกซ์เรย์
